Sleepy Joe Biden Ditches Historic Coronation while THESE World Leaders Make Time

Joe Biden is nowhere to be found as world leaders gather for King Charles III’s coronation.

Senior officials from around the world have assembled for King Charles III’s Coronation, with some figures antagonistic to the UK and the monarchy visiting to promote their countries and ideas.

President of the United States Joe Biden, however, has decided to return home following his five-day tour of Ireland, instead sending his wife, Jill, to attend the ceremony in his place.

Former President Donald Trump joked earlier this week from his golf resort in Scotland that the 80-year-old Democrat would most likely be “sleeping in Delaware” during the historic event.

According to reporting by the BBC, senior officials from other nations, by contrast, have not opted to turn down the opportunity to attend the historic occasion.

Many politicians from the British Commonwealth of Nations are expected to attend, including Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Foreign heads of state are also in the UK for the ceremony, including French President Emmanuel Macron and Polish President Andrzej Duda, with a slew of foreign royals taking the seats of Westminster Abbey on Saturday.

Even leaders from countries opposed to the United Kingdom and its monarchy are in attendance, with the Chinese Communist Party and the Irish Republican party Sinn Féin sparking controversy by sending Vice President Han Zheng and Northern Ireland leader Michelle O’Neill, respectively.

Han’s presence is particularly controversial, with the senior Chinese Communist Party official reportedly having played a major role in the CCP’s crackdown on pro-democracy protesters in the former British colony of Hong Kong.
